Pet Peeve

I would have to say that my biggest pet peeve is either when people put their feet on the back of my chair or when people shake their leg making your desk move too. They both seem like little things but when your trying to concentrate or just pay attention it is really annoying! The feet on the back of the chair is probably the worst because every little move of the feet is a big tap to the sitter. To avoid it I try scooting my chair up so they can not reach it or if their feet are on there I will make it obvious that it is annoying me like I might glance at their feet or scooch my chair up when their feet are on it. After a while people usually get the point.

So lately our TV has not been working in our dorm room and it is getting really annoying. The reason it does not work is because we dropped the remote so the batteries came out and now it needs to be reprogrammed to the TV. Somehow our TV got switched to these weird channels and there are only like four of them. The thing is is we can not change the channels back without the remote and our Phillips Universal remote is the only one without a manual online and of course we do not have it in our room either. So we have been trying to find this certain blog that explains how to reprogram it, this has happened before and we found the blog but now we can't find it this time. We were debating getting a new remote but if we do that we aren't sure how to change it back to the normal channels because their is a certain button on our remote.

Theory

When I was getting ready for class the other morning it seemed that everything was going wrong, I hit my head at least three times, I kept dropping things, and I kept forgetting where I placed my different items that I needed. All along the way I kept telling myself I am going to have a good day, repeating it in my head as if trying to remember something important. Throughout that day that's what I would repeat as bad things would continue to happen to me. You are probably wondering why my blog is named theory, well, this is my theory; if you continue to explain to yourself how good of a day your going to have, you will. Even if every little thing could go wrong. As long as you are determined to have a good day. Suddenly after telling myself what a good day I was going to have I was in a better mood. That day ended up being great.

On the other hand, have you ever had the day where it seems like everyone is out to get you? That seems to have been the day of my roommate yesterday. It seemed like everything I said or did was wrong. We have our little fights but sometimes it seems that she is just ungrateful. Don't get me wrong, she is one of my best friends and I would never trade roommates. It just bothers me when she puts all the blame for certain things on me. The other day she had a fight with her boyfriend but ended up taking it out on me. I guess people just need an outsource for their anger and I was hers for that day. Oh well, life goes on.

What do I expect this semester

This semester I want to learn new writing styles and learn how to improve my writing. I expect to gain a greater knowledge on how to write effectively. A lot of my knowledge of writing comes from my high school AP English class and I would like to take it a step up from there. I hope to learn what I am doing wrong and what I am doing right. From my instructor I hope to have access to help whenever needed and my questions answered. For myself I hope to just improve my writing like I said.

New topic completely, I would like to write about my weekend. On Monday I went to the Lil Wayne concert and it was amazing. My boyfriend bought us really good tickets for Christmas. My favorite artists of the night were T Pain and Lil Wayne. The other singers were Keisha Cole, Gym Class Heros, and Keri Hilson. When T Pain and Lil Wayne were on the stage together that was the best part. During T Pain's songs the stage was set up like a circus because that is the name of his album. He explained the roles of the people in the circus as they relate to the music industry. Not only did he have the background of the circus but also people were dressed up as circus people and he even had midgets jump out of a box and dance.
